New Month New Design!

Confession time, I get addicted to redesign, but I think I spent enough time on this one that it will stay put for a while.

I wanted to find a “me” look,
and you know that is easier said then done.

I see SO many cute blogs out there, and I think,
“Yeah I want THAT LOOK!”
But then I realize that actually that isn’t my style.
As much as I admire certain styles they don’t reflect me personally.

I recently found a great blog you should check out called Pugly Pixel
she has amazing resources, tutorials and is a great writer. I was a fan from my first visit.
She said something that stuck with me.

She said she keeps working on
something until she is happy with it.

And so that is what I did this time.
I know art is a process, and for me I have found a real outlet through design, for myself most of all.
I found this awesome quote the other day on
that has also really stuck with me…
123959382_NpfCC0ay_c

Does anyone else relate to this?

I am definitely in that gap or pre-gap even, but I do enjoy it so much that I want to keep working on it, keep learning and keep having something that resembles ambition to be better.

Welcome September, please bring a cool breeze with you so our soon arrive Pumpkin Spice Latte’s won’t make us sweat!!!

30 Days of Hair Day 30: Gibson Variation

Welcome to the
Final Day
of
30 Days of Hair

Hope you have enjoyed and if you have missed any just click that button under my header!

Today is a quick “out of the shower”

Gibson Variation

gibsonhair1gibsonhair
I couldn’t take pics while doing it so I will explain how…
  • Mine works best with wet hair so all the layered pieces don’t pop out as you twist!
  • From Left side of head begin to twist hair towards head keeping the roll towards the bottom of your head.
  • When you reach the end wrap hair around each other and make into a bun and secure
  • With remaining hairon right side start at the top and repeat when you get to the bun you made twist hair around that bun and secure. (I just used two elastics)
This is great if you are in a hurry out of the shower or have to run somewhere after swimming!
Remember if you need further instructions on any of the tutorials let me know and I can try to make a video for you!
