Greasy Hair No More! Victoria Secret's Dry Shampoo Review

OK, let's be honest.
There are always those times when we realize that we have to go out
in a little while but not in enough time to take a shower and dry our hair
and all that other buisness.
{Besides we don't want to re-do our make-up!}

On top of that, some people get greasy hair faster than others,
and I am here to tell and
SHOW you
that Victoria Secret's Dry Shampoo REALLY works!

Let's take a look at the scary BEFORE shots of my undesirable hair...

YUCK! No one wants to go out like this.

Now if you are a blonde like me, you may know the baby powder trick, but what's this I have?

 Point and Shoot

Mine seemed like it was not working correctly with one straight stream that was very liquidy. I wasn't sure it was going to work this time.
But sure enough it dried right away and I brushed it out...

Not only does it work but if you have ever used the So Sexy line it smells sooooo good!

And now I am ready at the last minute to go to dinner with my family!

I believe there might be other brands that make something similar
but this one works really well!
Have you guys tried any?

{all opinions of this product are my own, I was not compensated for this post}

Inspiration Sunday: Will You Dance with Me?

I came across this little thought this week and wanted to share...
ENJOY!

Too many people put off something that brings them joy just because they haven't thought about it, don't have it on their schedule, didn't know it was coming or are too rigid to depart from their routine.

I got to thinking one day about all those women on the Titanic who passed up dessert at dinner that fateful night in an effort to cut back. From then on, I've tried to be a little more flexible.

How many women out there will eat at home because their husband didn't suggest going out to dinner until after something had been thawed? Does the word 'refrigeration' mean nothing to you?

How often have your kids dropped in to talk and sat in silence while you watched 'Jeopardy' on television?

I cannot count the times I called my sister and said, 'How about going to lunch in a half hour?' She would hesitate and stammer, 'I can't. I have clothes on the line. My hair is dirty. I wish I had known yesterday, I had a late breakfast, It looks like rain.' And my personal favorite: 'It's Monday.' She died a few years ago. We never did have lunch together.

Because Americans cram so much into their lives, we tend to schedule our headaches. We live on a sparse diet of promises we make to ourselves when all the conditions are perfect!

We'll go back and visit the grandparents when we get Steve toilet-trained. We'll entertain when we replace the living-room carpet... We'll go on a second honeymoon when we get two more kids out of college.

Life has a way of accelerating as we get older. The days get shorter, and the list of promises to ourselves gets longer. One morning, we awaken, and all we have to show for our lives is a litany of 'I'm going to,' 'I plan on,' and 'Someday, when things are settled down a bit.'

When anyone calls my 'seize the moment' friend, she is open to adventure and available for trips. She keeps an open mind on new ideas. Her enthusiasm for life is contagious. You talk with her for five minutes, and you're ready to trade your bad feet for a pair of Roller blades and skip an elevator for a bungee cord..

My lips have not touched ice cream in 10 years. I love ice cream. It's just that I might as well apply it directly to my stomach with a spatula and eliminate the digestive process The other day, I stopped the car and bought a triple-Decker. If my car had hit an iceberg on the way home, I would have died happy.

Now...go on and have a nice day. Do something you WANT to......not something on your SHOULD DO list. If you were going to die soon and had only one phone call you could make, who would you call and what would you say? And why are you waiting?

Make sure you read this to the end; you will understand why I sent this to you.

Have you ever watched kids playing on a merry go round

or listened to the rain lapping on the ground?

Ever followed a butterfly's erratic flight

or gazed at the sun 'til the fading night?

Do you run through each day on the fly?

When you ask ' How are you?' Do you hear the reply?

When the day is done, do you lie in your bed

with the next hundred chores running through your head?

Ever told your child, 'We'll do it tomorrow.'

And in your haste, not see his sorrow?

Ever lost touch? Let a good friendship die?

Or had an old friend just call to say 'Hi?

When you worry and hurry through your day,

it is like an unopened gift....Thrown away.....

Life is not a race, so please take it slower.
Hear the music before the song is over.

Blogging Tips & Tricks: How to maximize labeling/tagging posts

Welcome back to

Blogging Tips & Tricks
today I am talking about

How to Maximize Labeling Posts

To read the other tips and tricks you can find them all HERE
(just keep scrolling down to view them all)
Make sure you come back for these upcoming topics!!
{If you have any suggestions or topics you would like to see covered please
LEAVE A COMMENT,
I would love to cover as much as I can!}

Here is what is still coming up....

  • How to number your comments
  • How to make a unique favicon
  • How to add a personal signature
  • How to connect your contact button to email
  • Blogging Etiquette
  • Utilizing social networking
  • Commenting
  • Secrets I have learned in blogging
Let's get started...

So what do I mean by LABELING?

It has also been called tags and I am sure it looks familiar as you see this box every time you post, it looks like this.

This post is not about SEO and getting found my Google or other search engines,
 this is more about

how to group your posts so that they are easy to be found by your readers
.

For instance, if you look in my right sidebar you will see many buttons which are there for others to reference, such as blogging tips.

If you click on this button it will take you to a page that will let you scroll through all the Blogging Tips posts I have ever made.

This is how you use labeling to make buttons like that possible.

  • Every time you write a new post for each of the titles that you want; beauty, style, blogging, crafts, etc make sure you tag that post with that word (ie Blogging Tips)

  • You can even go back through old posts and tag/label them and they will be then grouped as well!

  • Publish it.

  • Once it is published and it takes you to the page that says "View Post" Click on this.

  • Go to the bottom of the post to where the tags/labels are listed are and click on the one you added

  •  this is the address where all the posts that you have tagged with that particular label will be found

If you want to connect them to a particular button this is what you will need to do:
(you can use the same button tutorial I showed you last week HERE for this if you need to know how to make a button, just without the text box portion)
  • when you click on that label it will take you to a page that you will want to grab the address of.
  • the http will say something in the address like this (http://eisymorgan.blogspot.com/search/label/personal)
  • the LABEL/ is what you are wanting and looking for
  • copy that address and paste into the button code
(this example is my About Me page: see where it says label/about%20me?  )

This process is kind of difficult to explain step by step but I hope
you guys can play around and figure it out!!

If you are going to play with your design much this is a very helpful piece to know so people can access your info much easier!

Please let me know if you need any clarification or if it makes sense at all??
ha ha

Happy Blogging Friends!!

Weight loss Inspiration: W8Lab

If you are anything like me, I am always in a little bit of a
fist fight with these extra pounds
that like to stick mostly to my middle and
honkey tonk badunk-a-dunk!

Last year around May I decided to take up running, and I really started enjoying it.
To tell you I have been consistant with it since then would be a lie,
but I am determined to get back into it again.
I have even signed up for a half marathon in Denver in October.
(Maybe someday the whole will be in the works, but one step at a time)

If you have a desire to loose weight here are two resources that have been spurring me on!

One, this video from Ben Does Life.

If you haven't seen it, it will move you for sure if you have battled this along with me....

Another great blog to check out is my Northern Irish friend
Paul's blog called
He is documenting his amazing adventure in getting healthy!
Here he is in his first Fun Run last weekend, even made it into the paper!!

It's not just his journey in this, its a community!!
Stop by and give your support, follow W8Lab's Facebook page....
you can even order a shirt, take your photo in it of you accomplishing small goals,
and get them posted on the page!

Come on and let's do this together!

Let me know if you stopped by!!
