My name is Kristin and I am a 24 year old military wife who loves to cook and try new recipes. It all started about a year and a half ago when a friend suggested that I start a food blog and since I was getting requests for recipes from both family and friends at the time, I decided that I would give the blogging world a shot. I am always making my husband or as I like to call him on Holy Cannoli Recipes "the Mr." try my latest and sometimes not so greatest creations (the latter doesn't usually make an appearance on the site). A lot of the recipes that I make are recipes that I find either through cookbooks or other foodie bloggers but there are some that I have come up with myself. I try to stick with semi-healthy meals without totally sacrificing the flavor but have been known to slip up and indulge. Hey, it's all about balance, right?
